If you are spending more than your income, what would you most easily give up?
Would you drop out a course you don't attend anyway?
Would you cancel your landline and keep just your mobile phone?
Would you change your phone provider's offer now that you are less abroad?
Would you start keeping a diary and recording your expenses? If you pay by card, bank statements will help
you do this.
On what can you save? Are you having several bank accounts, several credit cards? Reduce the number of
them.
Do you have two cars in the family? Can you give one up? In this way you could save money for your holidays
and for what makes you happy.
Pay your bills on time, ideally right away. It is not always easy, but it is important to learn to do it as soon as
possible. If you don't, you could fall behind on your payments. Then will come the interest payments, after that
the reminder, the debt builds up. It may even lead to your losing your home.
